Oracle9iR2 Server Performance Tuning

Duration: 5 days

Description
This class focuses on performance tuning tools and techniques for optimizing the efficiency of an Oracle9i server. An emphasis will be placed on the major focus areas of the Oracle server. Students will learn how to generate tuning statistics, evaluate the information and then tune the Oracle server. Special emphasis will be placed on focusing common tuning solutions on the students “real life” production database experiences. The class will demonstrate the powerful new tuning features in Oracle9i R1 and R2. This class will prepare you for the Oracle9i Database: Performance Tuning certification test (#1Z0-033).
