Oracle9iR2 DBA Fundamentals I

Description 
This class will teach DBAs and experienced developers the fundamental skills they need to manage the Oracle9i database. Students will learn database administration skills by designing, setting up, configuring and managing their own Oracle9i server. Topics include understanding the Oracle9i architecture, storage management, configuring an instance, security and data management. By the end of the class each student will have gone through the main tasks necessary to administer an Oracle9i database. This class will prepare you for the Oracle 9i Database: Fundamentals I certification test (#1Z0-031). This is an excellent class for Sybase, Informix, and DB2 DBAs making the transition to Oracle.
