Fast Track to Java Programming          

Duration: 3 days

Description 
This intense three day course will teach students the fundamentals of the Java programming language. Students will learn the advantages and disadvantages of Java, the Java development environment and how to build Java applets and applications. Students will also be introduced to writing user interfaces using buttons, frames, dialog boxes, window events, menus, panels, scroll bars, labels and text areas. The primary objective of this course is to teach students the basics of the Java programming language.

Prerequisites
A strong programming background is required. Students must have at least one year of experience in a programming language such as Fortran, C, Cobol or Pascal. Knowledge in object technology is recommended but not required.
