Introduction to Object Technology Using UML

Description 
This presentation is intended to introduce object-oriented concepts, terminology and benefits using Java and UML graphical notation. Topics include classes, objects, attributes, methods, encapsulation, abstraction, inheritance, polymorphism, interfaces, association, composite aggregation, ternary associations and design patterns. Code examples demonstrating concepts use Java. Class, object, state, sequence, collaboration, interaction, activity, component and use-case diagrams are included. An emphasis is placed on explaining the design and software engineering benefits of object technology. A comparison of data and object models is also provided.
